Documentation and credits

ARCHIV favours museum notices, public collections and documented reproductions. No image is shown without credit and reference to the holding institution.

Selection method

Biographical and technical facts are checked against institutional sites (Met, NGA, British Museum, Albertina, Pinakothek, Prado, Louvre, MFA, Cleveland, Uffizi). Visuals come from public domain files (artist died 1528) on Wikimedia Commons when institutions do not provide stable URLs, or WebP copies optimised by ARCHIV.

Edition sources

Each ARCHIV edition links to a documented source work. Until commercial reproduction rights are confirmed, status remains « Coming soon » — no price or online order.
